2 animation prompts for Claude Code
Both videos below were made with Claude Code and Remotion. Copy a prompt, change the idea, and make your own.
1. Hand-drawn explainer
A whiteboard lesson where the drawings and arrows appear stroke by stroke.
Make a 15-second 1080x1350 Remotion video explaining [your topic] as a whiteboard lesson. Use a cream paper background and handwriting fonts. Draw every stick figure, arrow and label stroke by stroke with animated SVG paths, and add a slight line wobble so it feels hand-drawn. Use one simple real-life analogy, and end with one sentence that sums it up.
2. Paper-cut scene
A layered paper scene with depth, moving from a bright day to a starry night.
Make a 16-second 1080x1350 Remotion video of [your scene] in a layered paper-cut style. Build the scene from flat paper layers with soft shadows, and move each layer at a different speed for depth. Change the colours smoothly from day to night, with a sun, a moon and twinkling stars. Move on every second frame for a handmade stop-motion feel. Keep one simple moving subject in the middle of the scene.
How to use them
- Open Claude Code in a new, empty folder.
- Copy a prompt and replace the part in square brackets with your own idea.
- Ask Claude Code to render the video, then describe any changes you want.
Your first result may need a few follow-up messages. Claude Code needs a Claude account, so check its current plans, and check Remotion's licence if you are making videos for a company.
